About Us

Who we are and how we got here.

At Drury Hotels, we offer our guests more than a place to sleep. We provide a place to feel welcome. Happy. At home.

What we do is about more than check-in and check-out. Just as what you do is about more than a paycheck. We’re about the stuff that really matters. Doing what’s right, even when no one is looking. That extra touch that makes us different. Makes us special. Makes us smile.

The principles of Quality, Value, and Consistency have guided Drury Hotels since 1973, when the Drury brothers opened the first Drury-brand hotel in Sikeston, Missouri, a half-hour from Kelso, their small hometown in Missouri’s bootheel. Learning from their hard-working father, Lambert, during the Depression era, they took on ornamental and plastering work, tile jobs, and small construction jobs … ever focused on quality, service, innovation, and value.

In all we do, Drury Hotels takes great pride in welcoming our guests—and our team members—just like we do our own family.

Hotels that Matter

Our guests’ comfort and experience. Bottom line, we want them to have a wonderful stay and return. That’s why we take so much care in the building of our hotels. We choose our locations based on where we believe our guests would benefit – and we create ways to give back to the area – whether it’s with community involvement, being “green” or transforming older buildings into top-notch hotels.

Historic Renovations

When we choose locations for new hotels, we often help communities by restoring older buildings to create top-notch hotels. We currently have renovated 10 historic buildings.

Green Initiatives

We at Drury Hotels plan on being around forever. So we take steps to care for the communities where we reside and the world we share, to the benefit of our team members and our guests. From hotel design and construction to the amenities inside, we innovate from the ground up … from small efforts to large LEED® Certification initiatives.

Our shower dispensers and recycled key program reduce plastic waste, and our towel program curbs water use. As one of the first hotels to seek LEED certification, we are proud that Drury Inn & Suites Flagstaff is the first LEED Certified hotel in Arizona. We’ll continue to pursue energy-saving design and LEED construction as we grow.

When we open our doors in a community, it is with full appreciation that doors open both ways. Thriving hotels, guests, team members, and neighborhoods—these are all intertwined. Through philanthropic initiatives on both company and team member levels, our family of hotels strives to be a good neighbor, wherever we are.
